China electric power news network news: It’s reported that the north China power grid owned by State Power Datong co., LTD has begun to upgrade and renovate the maximum 500 kv booster station in full swing by correspondent Ma Xiaolong. The booster station is an important hub for transmission from west to east while It undertakes the task of sending power to the beijing-tianjin-tang power grid from five million-kilowatt power plants of the north China power grid.

In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power transmission and transformation equipment of the 500 kv booster station, the Datong power generation company decided to carry out upgrading and transformation of the equipment of the booster station after communicating with the power grid.The renovation will be carried out in three steps and is expected to be completed by the end of September.After the completion of the transformation, the power supply’s reliability and stability of the booster station equipment can be improved, the power transmission foundation can be consolidated, and the carrying capacity of the booster station can be improved, so as to provide a strong power guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the north China power grid.
